MediReady is committed to making mediready.ai usable by as many people as possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
Measures in place
- Semantic HTML with a skip-to-content link and a logical heading structure
- Full keyboard operability (menu, tabs, and forms) with a visible focus indicator
- Respect for the 'reduce motion' system setting: animations and the hero settle to a static state
- AA color contrast in both light and dark sections, with no meaning conveyed by color alone
- Labeled form fields with an error summary and status messages announced to assistive technology
- No horizontal scrolling down to a 320px-wide viewport
Media
Explainer videos never autoplay. They are presented poster-first, start only when you choose, and are decorative to the readable text around them.
Known limitations
We test with current browsers and screen readers, but some third-party or newly added content may not yet fully conform. We treat accessibility issues as bugs and prioritize fixing them.
